House On Mango Street Monologue
Blood slides along my body, beneath my clothes and down to the floor. It's warm, somehow it feels kind of nice. But it shouldn't, surely this is the end of me, surely I'm dying.
But I'm standing, I'm still standing. My legs beg me to give in, to let go and drop to the soft grass below, but I'm still standing.
I can't take this anymore, somebody find me already, please! Aah, this is driving me insane. I can't.. Somebody.. I don't want to die, please help. I can't do this on my own, I'm to weak, I'm too broken.

Leave me alone! Ple-ease!” she mumbled. She heard Hawk’s grumble but left her. Thunder heard something, but decided to ignore it. She screamed as the coldest water she had ever felt hit her. Hawk stood in front of her, with an empty bucket. “YOU LITTLE TYRANT! I’M GONNA KILL YOU!” she cried as Hawk ran. Well, tried to run. He forgot that to get out of her room, he had to climb down a latter! So instead of running out of her room, well, you get what happened. Hawk landed face first down one flight of fifteen steps. Thunder was slick with water, but fast. As Hawk was standing up rubbing his nose, Thunder jumped down on top of him. Hawk was the one to scream that time. He flailed his arms but fell down, with Thunder on him, just as their father tripped over them. “What the-” he yelped. Mom walked in and saw them. At first no reaction. But then she burst out in

It was early summer when my uncle and his wife came over from Australia. I and my uncle had always gotten on quite well, we have always had a connection, so when we found out in spring 2013 that he had a very dangerous form of cancer we were extremely worried about him. Before he moved to Australia with his wife he once had a job working in an old factory in town, the moment he said that I knew exactly which one he was on about, I had been in it before but not for a while. It had been abandoned and relinquished for the past 40 years, but from the rumours that I had heard there was asbestos in the basement and if it were to be knocked down the whole town would be covered in it so it could not be knocked down. My uncle seemed interested in seeing what happened to the old place so I arranged a trip with 3 other friends to take photos and videos inside of the place…

It is the hour to be drunken! to escape being the martyred slaves of time, being ceaselessly drunk.on war, on poetry, on virtue as you wish. reads Roy. Inside a room, its dark and unnoticeable; but adequate light fills the room as we adjust to the darkness.…

It starts out rough at first, a struggle, fighting the thing that is ultimately supposed to help you, you’re blinded by a clear force of nature, and then, all of a sudden, everything becomes simple. You’re gliding on top of what once held you down; you’ve conquered your oppressor. You’re riding the “wave” of life, controlling everywhere you go, you’re on top of the world! But the only problem with being at the top of the world is that there is only one way left to go. Down. You can never tell what the “wave” might throw you next, maybe it will be something easy, or fun, some minor bump you can turn into the jump you’ve been waiting for so you can finally do that perfect 360, or maybe it’s a rogue set of waves from hell that end with you face down in the water, sore and in need of some serious chiropractic assistance. And we all get those rogue waves when we’re at our finest moment, but when that wave comes and knocks you over, the only thing you can do is get back up on it, time, and time again, and let the wave know that you will never let anything stop you from trying to do what you need to do.
