Home Movie Is Better Than Theater Movie
Nowadays, watching movie has been common-placed to most of the people and they watch movie in two different place: in a theater and at home. Some people prefer to watch movie in a theater and some people prefer to watch at home depend on their mood and characters. For me, I prefer watching movie at home instead of watching in a theater. The reasons should be reviewed in order to understand my statement.

FIrst of all, when we watch movie in a theater, it will take lots of time to get there and in my opinion, it is wasting of time for everyone. For example, in my experience, it took about 30 minutes to reach a theater from my house but I could have just stay at home and watch movie in there and save my time. Thus it is not practical to spend my time to get to a theater especially when it takes long to get there.

Furthermore, if I watch movie at home, it is cheaper than going to a movie theater. People pay more money to watch movie in a theater instead of at home. But, in my opinion, we don’t need to spend more money to watch same movie in different place and I think it’s waste of money. We can spend that money differently, for example, we can buy food and drinks when we watch movie at home instead. Hence, it is not wise to spend more money on watching movie in a theater.

Finally, I can spend more time with my family by watching movie at home. As we have more time to spend with them by watching movie, there would be a good conversation going on with family and it is a great opportunity to make family relationship better and more friendly. For example, if we are watching a dacumetary movie at home with family, they can share their ideas and feeling about the movie together and know with each other better. So it would be great to watch movie at home with family.

To sum up, there are more advantages if we watch a movie at home than watching in a movie theater. Notably, people comsume more money and time to watch a movie in a theater. It would be depend on

First of all, the financial aspects of going out to the movies are the most appalling factor when you consider the facts. On average, a person will go the movies twelve times a year with a friend or family member totaling over eight hundred dollars or more. The person who stays home to see a movie for an easy eight dollars a month with Netflix also saves time and aggravation, as well as a considerable amount of gas money. Theatres also charge an excessive amount of money for snacks and sodas which could easily be prepared at home for a fraction of the price. Sodas and popcorn, on a national average, are three to five dollars for a soda, four to six dollars for popcorn and three to five dollars for candy. Financially, going to the movies compared to sitting at home and watching a movie isn't even fair. Netflix offers streaming movies whenever you want, for eight dollars a month. DVD's and Blurays are also offered to be mailed within one business day. Netflix boasts over 100,000 titles most available instantly on your television, computer, or gaming console as long as you want, and as many times as you want. I feel that going out to have a good time is essential in life, but money saved is money earned.…

Movie theaters are always overcrowded and you have to get there fifteen minutes early to get a good seat. Also, you always have to plan around the times that the theater chooses to show the movie you want to see. Sometimes this can be a hassle because there are other things you need to be doing at the time they choose to play the movie. Once you get there, you have to pay outrageous prices for tickets. Then, if you want to go to the concession stand for a snack and drink you might as well bring an extra twenty dollars. Once you get to your seat, there are always people who disturb you throughout the movie. There are always people who have to get up to use the restroom and block your view of the screen in the process. Normally at least one person forgets to silence their cell phone and you are constantly reminded when their phone goes off every five minutes. Another thing is, everyone knows the pain of having to get up from the seat in the theater and go to the restroom. You are always paranoid that you will miss something vital in the movie, you trip over people, run into the unclean restroom, and rush back to your seat. After the movie is over, you always have to wait forever to get out of the parking lot because everyone seems to get out at the same time. This is very time consuming most of the time and causes…

I, personally, hate going to the movies. The prices are always more expensive every time I go. When I was in middle school I could go for around 8$, and now it’s more in the 15-20 dollar range. All to sit in a theater for 2ish hours and stare silently at a screen, something I could easily (and would prefer to) do at home. The only time I have gone to movies in the past few years are with family and friends, as a group activity. The cultural idea of seeing a movie is so culturally ingrained that people actually will spend 20$ on a movie ticket . Movie theaters are probably one of the few remaining “push” innovations, along with magazines and newspapers. You have to show up at a certain time, to a certain selection of movies, and pay by the movie. Movies are highly advertised (although I am told that LA had way more movie advertising than other US cities, which I had never really noticed since I’ve lived here my whole life) and an extremely money-based business. The movies produced by big names and companies are so different from independently made movies, especially in artisitc value. The movie industry is so highly commercialized that maybe we balance it out by seeing the films in something as old-fashioned as a theater. Seeing the movie in a theater also allows you to be one of the first to watch it (except for…

Do you like Movies? If I am the person to answer the question, I would definitely say yes. The reason why people like movies is that I can have a couple hours off without any other thoughts in mind. I really feel relax when I’m watching a movie. However, in the case it calls the movie industry was a study in contradiction. In the case it listed out few points. First, the numbers of theaters is declining, but the number of screens is at an all-time high. This shows that each theater that had remained now is getting bigger and bigger, so that they are able to show different kinds of movies. Second, revenues are up, but attendance is largely flat. In the late 1940s, the average of a person attends to the film for a year is 28; today it is 6. This numbers shows that in nowadays, it’s really easy for people to get a movie without entering the theaters. Last but not the least, though the U.S. population is increasing, however, the size of the market isn’t growing as fast as it is. The followings are the analysis and opinions.…

Without such a wonderful place for gathering and entertaining, people, especially youth like me, find our living place extremely boring. If the theater is built, children will have more chance to open their mind to the newest Disney’s movies, young couples are able to enjoy new films together, friends and colleges can share their relaxing moments after working and studying time, and family member might stay closer together watching meaningful movies. Needless to say, the people in my neighborhood will have better entertainment conditions, and that make their life become more interesting.…

An important reason is that a movie theater is full of entertaining events ranging from showing blockbuster movies to promotional fan meetings with movie stars. What is more, a movie theater can be an amusing cultural and social center for family and friends to spend time on weekends. For example, my friend used to live in a town where life was dull and monotonous. However, after a movie theater was built in her town, the local residents could spend an exciting and fun time with family and friends while looking at posters, eating delicious snacks, and sharing one another’s impression and opinions about the movie at nearby restaurants or coffee shops. In this respect, a theater can be a joyful factor for local people.…
