Home Is the Place Where Heart Lives
The first meaning is that where you live, that is where your heart is. You physically may be away from home however your heart is in the place that you live. You wish you were there because it gives you peace and joy and comfort to be there. Consider this verse:

Philippians 3:20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:

I believe that real followers of Christ can relate when I say that I would much rather be in heaven than here on earth. When you learn about the love of Jesus and compare it to the lusts of this world, one seeks to be with Jesus more than anything. The Bible does a great job of describing our future home in the Book of Revelation in Chapter 22. My heart is there right now. I wish to be there rather than down here.
Where we love is home - home that our feet may leave, but not our hearts.
-Oliver Wendell Holmes

Most people don’t understand the concept of a ‘home’. For some, it’s just a building with a roof and four walls surrounding us. But on behalf of my regard I find it as a place where the soul lives, the memories get created and the real upbringing from the darkness to enlightment of life begins. Home sweet home is always there deep inside the heart of every living individual.
Having one’s home is an old dream, as old as this universe is. Home is a place where basic, emotional, psychological and social needs of every individual member are fulfilled; a place for family living, where every individual enjoys the happiness, feels comfortable, gets maximum relaxation, passes on family traditions and customs from one generation to the other and can keep their treasure safely .Home is ranked as a man's paradise. It is a place in which human beings enjoy the happiness, love and affection, comfort, entertainment and indulge in various activities they like. It’s not built with just the bricks and stones but with the love and affection which it indulges within itself. The greatest

However, one of these days it, too, will give way and it will no longer be home to those who hold it in their fondest memories. But, of course, an empty house is no longer a home. Home and its connotations. Our home or a place in which we belong defies our sense of belonging. 10 Mary Street from the immigrant chronicles closely inter-links with the concept of home. It is the Routine predictable tasks that develop our sense of belonging. The entire first stanza of the poem is the daily routine; shut the house like a well-oiled lock, this emphasises the routine through the use of simile, a home isn’t temporary it forms our sense of belonging over time, as seen in ‘we lived together for nineteen years’. In the poems finishing lines, ‘naturalised for over a decade, we have become citizens of the soil’, sums up the effects of home, over the years their house has become a home with strong meaning and connections. By accepting their home they are accepting their identity and this is what enables a sense of belonging.…

I will still be the same person with the exact same flaws and problems. The roots I leave will remain attached to me, no matter how hard I try rid myself of them. Everything will stay the same; only the location of my residence will differ. This sobering revelation leads me to ponder the importance of a place. Does the place that one lives in make them who they are? Or do people make the place what it is? Maybe, these two options harmonize together, like a lively string duet. Perhaps, this causes a place to contain even more significance because it is people that make a lot of land a country, a city, a neighborhood, a home. If this is true, we should ask ourselves “What kind of person do I want to be?” before we wander off into…

There is no place like mi casa. After a long day of school or a tiring session of work, the one place I can surely count on is home. Deep in the outskirts of Miami Gardens, this relaxing getaway destination awaits. While not the fanciest nor extravagant, my house is a convenient three bedroom apartment in the residency of Walden Pond. The building is beige with firebrick red stairs and a faded grey roof. The stairs are firm, and have rust stains due to weathering. Walking into the apartment, the aroma of Glade air freshener greets you before the people do. The walls are an orange-brown color, and immediately upon entry there are plaques and awards for my siblings showing their accomplishments in school. A glass table with flowery boutique sits…

Maybe home truly is where the heart is. A phrase I have always thought to be corny, but now however I see some form of factual meaning behind. Home to me is all about that sense of security and love. Knowing that you are wanted. So does this feeling necessarily have to come from a particular location? Could it not be found simply by doing something, or being with someone? And if home can really not be about the walls around you, where is my home?…
