t has indeed been 25 years since the release of "Home Alone", so if you find your palms pressed to your cheeks while screaming into a mirror, it may not be the aftershave, but rather that very realization!

Home Alone was written and produced by John Hughes and directed by Chris Columbus. It was an American comedy released in 1990.

Macaulay Culkin stars as Kevin McCallister in the film, who initially relishes being home alone. He later had to contend with two would-be burglars played by Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern, who broke into their home.

Catherine O'Hara and John Heard played the part of Kevin's parents.

Macaulay Culkin as Kevin McCallister:
