Mistakes are made over and over again they are so large that they lead to the downfall of the greatest empires in history. It is vital that one remembers the Holocaust and that it is remembered each generation so that the same mistakes are not repeated. Adolf Hitler that created a spark that led to a raging fire. Through propaganda and hate stations the hatred towards the Jewish people spread. Some people were blinded by their hatred, they were happy to kill the Jews in inhumane ways. They would burn the Jews using other Jews flesh as fuel for the raging fires. There are also many bystanders everywhere in the world today there are always people who are blind to the oblivious. Most Germans were bystanders during the Holocaust. One of the past genocides before the Holocaust was the Namibian genocide in Africa. The Namibian genocide is an example of history repeating itself; the Africans were also murdered in masses for nothing. The Africans fought against German rule, and due to that they were killed in large masses. The genocide of Namibia occurred in the early 1900’s and ended shortly before the Holocaust (Namibia). We need to understand the importance of the Holocaust in history repeating itself because the Holocaust itself is an example of history repeating itself. From the Holocaust one can see how mistakes need to be fixed the first time because if they keep on going they will keep getting worse.
