Holding a grudge: Don’t do it. To every human being out there, my advice to you would be to never hold a grudge. Just hold the memory, so you won't make that mistake again. It's so pointless to stay angry with someone, it's a waste of energy, move on and be happy. Being happy is so much better and easier than staying mad or frustrated with someone. You should always do what makes you happy and excited. Rather than hold a grudge and make yourself miserable. Happy or angry or whatever it is, it’s your choice, but I've learned to move on with my life. Being happy is a much better way to spend your life. Open your eyes, live be free, don't let someone else drag you down, everyone deserves to be happy. Always keep the memory of what you are angry about, so you know to not do whatever that is again. Keep it with you but don't stay angry about it, that's how you waste your time. Learn your lesson and move on; otherwise you are only hurting yourself.
Holding onto a grudge can have some really negative side effects. It can destroy relationships by letting anger take place in a disruptive way. Studies have also shown that holding a grudge has negative effects on our bodies. Those that hold onto a grudge may have higher blood pressure and faster heart rates. When we let bitterness seep into one area of our life, it allows it to seep into others. We can become depressed and isolated by holding onto that grudge, so learn to forgive and keep moving forward.
