Have you ever wanted to know who started the Holocaust? What about why he or she started it? Well you are about to learn who did it and why the person did it. The person who started it all was Adolf Hitler. Hitler was a powerful dictator in Germany. Adolf Hitler started the Holocaust because he was racist against Jewish people. As a dictator Hitler was an insane man that rule Germany. So within this paper you will learn about Hitler’s childhood, campaign, and how Hitler was stopped from continuing the Holocaust. Adolf Hitler had a tough childhood due to family members dying and being poor. Adolf Hitler was born on April 20, 1889. Hitler was born in a small time called Braunua. Hitler’s parents were Alois and Klara Hitler. In 1900, Hitler entered a secondary school in Linz, Austria. Then in 1903 Hitler had a tragic death within his family. Hitler’s dad Alois had died of a lung hemorrhage. In 1907 Hitler’s mom had died too due to lung cancer. After Hitler’s mom had died, Hitler moved to Vienna, Austria. Hitler had four siblings named Gustav, Ida, Otto, and Edmund. In 1904 Hitler quit school and returned home. Hitler has always dreamed of being an artist and tried getting into an art school in Vienna, Austria. Hitler never got into the school after failing the entry exam twice. Soon Hitler then gave up and served as a corporal in an infantry regiment. (www.bplonline.org biography in context Hitler, Adolf) Hitler endured and survived four years of World War I. Hitler did so well in the infantry he actually won an award. Hitler had won the Iron Cross first class award twice. The Iron Cross award is the highest award that any soldier can win. So this was a great achievement for Hitler. In 1919 Hitler decided to become active in politics. It was when Hitler was in prison when he had decided to become active in politics.     Adolf Hitler the leader of this disaster was born April 20, 1889 in a small town in Austrian, Germany. Alois, Adolf’s father was a very strict and brutal father. Alois would beat Hitler when he was a younger boy, but his mother Klara was the opposite of his dad. Klara was very caring and loving too Adolf and his other three siblings. When his father died, Hitler dropped out of school at the sixteen.     First, Adolf Hitler was born on April 20, 1889 in Austria. His father dies in 1903 leaving young Adolf and his mother, his mother didn’t seem to be a strong influence on Adolf because he started failing school and eventually in 1905 left the conventional school system all together. In 1907 his mother died, he dreamed of becoming a famous artist so he moved to Vienna where he enrolled in the famed Academy of Fine arts.
