Over 80% of teenagers cant live without there phones and use them for everything. Cell phones now a day are now called Smartphone’s and they have many more uses than just calling and texting. They are fantastic tools for class. I strongly believe that mobile phones should not be banned from classrooms and should be aloud in class because they have educational apps, they are used for emergencies, and the internet for research.
Cell phones have a lot of educational apps and are great tools for class. Scientists say “Students will learn more off of technology than any other tool” This shows that the apps on cell phones will teach students in a more effective way than any other tool. Cell phones now can also be used as a calculator, or notepad. The difference between a notepad and calculator on a cell phone than a notepad on paper or a actual calculator is that you could save trees by using technology, and using a calculator on a phone is more convenient. Mobile phones today have so many more uses, so why don’t we make use of them. Back in the day cell phones could only make calls, and now there are a lot more things you can do on them. There are a lot of uses especially school related. Phones are great things and there is no reason what so ever to ban them from classrooms. Although cell phones have a lot more purposes now, they will always be needed for making emergency phone calls. Which brings me to my next point.
Cell phones must not be banned from schools because all students will need them for emergencies. A teacher or adult cant be with you all the time. This shows that if something happened, you would have your cell phone to call someone and get the help you need. Some students must have there phones on them for safety, and family issues. Such as a physco family member or health issues within your family. I believe that every student that has one should be aloud to have it with them and use it because if only the
