Hillary Clinton Mirrors Analysis
I can honestly say that Hillary Clinton’s political ad, “Mirrors”, works very well in that it clearly expresses the message that Donald Trump does not have the highest respect for women. This ad features many young women looking at themselves in the mirror while demeaning comments play in the background and it ends with an interviewer asking Trump, "Do you treat women with respect?" and him answering with, " I can't say that either." I don’t support either side, as they’re both drastically flawed, but I can agree on the fact that Donald Trump disparages women. His social media account is full of offensive comments where he insults women from Angelina Jolie to a Supreme Court justice. He says that “Nobody has more respect for women than I do”,

    In this set of interviews, Angela Davis simultaneously addresses the issue of why we are stuck in this carceral state while also providing her solution, a solution that many would see as too radical. After first reading this interview, I thought immediately of the conversation we had with the two activists from Hands Up United.
