Hijack: Mind and Plane V123
Hijack I was sitting near the boarding gate, waiting for it to open, allowing passengers to board. The thought of my last plane ride that had been ruined by hijackers flashed throught my mind. I was on the plane V123 bound for Vietnam. My flight was at eight in the morning. Arriving at the airport at six, I thought i had time for a Big Breakfast at MacDonald's. I was devouring my breakfast when the announcement for my flight was made. "Good morning. V123 is ready for boarding. Passengers with kids, those from buisness and first class, you may now board the plane." I gazed at my watch, feeling foolish as I had forgotten to change my battery. I instantneously picked up my haversack and sprinted for the boarding gate. Thankfully, I made it in time. I showed my boarding pass and hopped on the plane. I found my window seat and settled down. The plane had barely taken off, and I was already feeling restless. I slumbered off to dreamland. After about an hour later, I woke up thinking I had arrived at my destination. Then, I realized that I was greeted by an unfamilliar sight. At that instant, a group of antagonists with guns walked past us. One of them pulled a man in front of me by the collar and pointed his reloaded gun at him. He barked, "Do anything stupid, and the will trigger will be pulled!" Everyone on the plane remained so silent, including the crew members, that i could hear their heartbeats. At that moment, we heard sirens nearby. The special forces had come to the rescue, but the perpetrators at the front started to fire at the ceiling. Everyone screamed and bent down. The police then knocked the entryway from both sides and fenced the criminals. The intimidating man immediately released the hostage. Two of the commandoes moved forward, looking alert, held the handcuffs to cuff the criminals' hands while the rest held them at gunpoint. Although we were finally safe, it was still a ordeal for all the passengers and crew on board. I shudder

Private Hotdogger comes up behind me and whispers, “ Get ready General, the workers all leaving and locking up.” I sprint as fast as I can all the way down the counter, I grab medical stuff gear and a mic for everyone to communicate. After two minutes everyone’s ready for the run, I see the fear on my troops faces. I grab my mic and say to everyone “ Get ready for the run there will be traps of all kinds, they everything to stop a sausage from escaping. The cabinet door opens up, everyone…

The men rushed out of the plane and took in the image of where they’d be spending their lives. They saw the fifteen-foot tall barbed wire fences, the grotesque buildings and scenery, and other inmates being escorted by officers in unison. Before the inmates stood two guards, each wearing a standard security uniform and nametag. One of the name tags read “Lt. Harrison” and the other read “Sgt. Sanders”. The inmates listened as they announced rollcall.…

“Passengers flying Flight QF563, your gate is now open for boarding”, I peacefully sipped what remained of my coffee and waited for Joshua to finish his bacon and egg roll. Shortly after, we began to make our way to our designated gate. The smell of low-priced takeout food filled the air and couldn’t help, but leave me feeling overly excited. My son and I navigated our way through the clustered crowds of other keen travellers, following the signs above our heads as well as the announcements that were played through the speakers at the airport.…

My first trip to Las Vegas was the worst plane trip every, I had experienced all types of emotions from Norfolk to Dallas. In Norfolk my flight was delayed due to the weather, then another two hour delay in Dallas. All I wanted was to get to Vegas. On my flight I sat beside a man who never been on a plane. This guy behavior was the worst. I tried to convince him to read, listen to music or drink. I even tried to start a conversation to calm him down. My friends were laughing they knew my patience was running out. I was thinking to myself knocking him out. We enter into a storm the thunder and lightning was bad the sounds silence the whole flight. The Pilot came on and informed us we are in Dallas unable to land due to the weather. Looking out…

On June 12, 2006, I was ready to board my flight at San Diego International airport, when I was given a once in a lifetime experience. As I began to board, the captain and first officer were greeting the passengers ahead of me. The line was moving very slowly; however, I eventually made it to the front. The captain and I began talking when all of a sudden he asked a very typical question, “What do I want to be when I grow up?” I responded, “I want to be a pilot” and for no apparent reason offered to take me into the cockpit. Inside the cockpit, the captain continued to talk about the plane while pointing to instruments such as altimeter and vertical speed indicator, when I suddenly asked him, “How did he become a pilot?” He responded by saying,…

When I got off of the plane, the immense heat wave hit me with surprise, and almost took me down. The humidity was sticking to my skin and the lights were white, like clouds floating on the ceiling. As I recuperated after those blinding lights came the most boring part of the trip, waiting on our luggage. As we were waiting everyone was leaving and we only had 1 bag left. We were getting a little nervous when we saw everyone leave and we were the only ones with another 8 people, so we went to complain to the airline person. We asked her if she knew where our bag was. She turned to us with a disgusted look and said, “ yes sir your bag is on another plane coming towards El Salvador.” As my family and I exchanged looks we were displeased with…

We got to the airport about an hour before the flight left so we could check our bags in and get through security my mom and dad said. We still had time after getting though security and my dad disappeared, when I asked where he was my mom said your will be back in time to get on the plain. Come to find out later this was only my dad’s second time on an air plane and he was more nervous than I was. He went to the bar to get some liquid courage pulsing through his veins. My dad got back in time and we boarded the plane my sister and I were fighting over who would get the window seat and of course I won because I was the youngest child. I sat down in my seat and my mom gave me a piece of gum and told me to keep chewing when we took off and landed. I wasn’t sure why but when we started to move and lift off the ground my ears started popping and as I chewed the popping wasn’t so bad. Finally after an hour the plane landed in beautiful Florida and it felt like I stepped through a time warp going from Ohio where it was 25 degrees to Florida where I was in the mid 80’s. We got into a taxi that took us up to a building and right across from the building was the biggest boat I have ever seen in my life and on the side in big white letters was “The Mistress of the Sea”. There she is my parents said as both my sisters and I were in total all. We walked into the building and went up a couple flights of steps and got our tickets, room number and keys. Then we went through a long hall way that leads you directly into the belly of the boat.…
