Topics: High school
From the start everybody was strangers, no one to talk to, and no one to share a laugh. As freshmen’s we we’re as innocent as a baby just waiting for someone to approach us and give us comfort. The first day of class was as damp and dull as detention class until……. Friendship started to blossom, classrooms started to be filled with noises and the canteen was full of giggling students, unfinished food and spilled juices. Then suddenly in the midst of freshmen year crushes evolved and cliques started to form. It was like a teenage book waiting to be told. High school life was tough and challenging, it was beyond our wildest nightmares (especially during Math Time) lol! XD, however all those stressful days we’re nothing compared to all the fun, delightful and practical experiences we would never trade up for the rest of our life. Those violations and those late comings they we’re worth trying. Those scolding moments we’re also worth it because it shaped our innermost values we never expected. All we knew and learned that they we’re building blocks of success for our future. As each day passed by, new memories we’re made, and one of the greatest was the speech choir. It was the one event in our school where everyone put their best foot forward; everybody was determined, competitive and persistent to win. Although there we’re misunderstandings we all learned that it was part of the game and the best will always prevail. There we’re also different parties, and our favorite part was the different kinds of foods to share. It was like a great big festival! Teachers, can you imagine a school without them? (Well we did!) But, it would never be the same without them. Sure, they may be strict at times, but I guess they have their reasons. We students can’t blame them for our misbehavior because deep in their hearts we know it’s against their will, they only reprimanded us because they only want what’s best for us. During signing of clearances you can’t see any student plainly sitting around, relaxed and daydreaming for a miracle to happen, it’s always the other way around. You can always see corridors filled with rushing students and the faculty room flooded with eager students with puppy dog eyes. Now after all these, I wonder how our senior life would end. Maybe full of teary eyes and lots unending hugs. But I know for the fact that they will always be wearing a backpack full of treasured and unforgettable memoirs. Little did we know that those freshmen years were quickly ending, and presto! Sophomore years came by and in a blink of an eye here came junior life which was a lot harder than we expected but gladly we survived and got through it with smiling faces and indelible memories in our hearts. And finally look at us now with our “G” badges; we are the model of all students. The last chapter was turned and like every book you read, reading the last part will always be the best yet also the saddest because you think it ends up there but this book is also unlike any other book, it has pretty big and little features called “memories”. It’s our book of experiences; it’s a summation of all the things we’ve done both good and bad. But nevertheless, afar all the negative experiences I still consider high school as the happiest.
