Research has shown that a short afternoon nap can promote physical well-being and improve mood and memory. Sleep is an important factor for a person’s daily routine. Scientifically, teens need to sleep for at least 9 ½ hours; adults need to sleep for seven to nine hours for one day. Sometimes due to insomnia or stress we cannot sleep. Especially for high school students. I support the decision about having short nap that can promote better health. High school students will improve their grades and wellbeing by having a short nap in the afternoon. Likewise, the working hours are long shift which can cause employees to work at a slow pace.     Firstly, there are a plethora of other variables preventing students from adequate sleep. Such examples include an excruciating amount of homework, extra-curricular activities and striving to maintain the Triangle of Health. These additional issues make it even more difficult to get enough sleep. The large amount of homework sometimes has students staying up all hours of the night.
