Hieronymus Bosch Research Paper

Hieronymus Bosch born in the year of 1450, his funeral was on August 9th, 1516, the date of his exact death was unknown. Unfortunately he didn’t leave much of a diary or letters behind, in fact almost slim to no documents showed that he existed. But he was mentioned quite a bit in records. One of which was his grandfather's, Jan Van Aken letter (who was also a painter), describing how he had five sons and out of all of them four of them were painters. The biggest piece of evidence that he existed is his magnificent works of art. He was known for his dark paintings, most revolved around human moral failures and sins that man could commit, some say he showed his vision of hell, each of his works are incredibly complex and highly imaginative.Throughout his career he explored different religious themes and beliefs, in his lifetime he had some success, but like most artists Bosch’s work became more popular when King Philip II of Spain started being a serious collector of his work, long after his passing. Now a great deal of his work is hung in the Museo Nacional del Prado in Madrid.
For many reasons starting from his different styles that he successfully puts together.
