Hierarchy Order In James Dashner's The Maze Runner
I have currently finished reading the book, The Maze Runner by James Dashner. This book takes place in a futuristic world where a deadly disease has broken out. Scientists have created a way to experiment with the children’s mind in order to find a cure. They put young boys of different ages together in a dome like world and send supplies every once in awhile. Around every month they send a new boy to dome. The kids know they aren’t living in a real world, but they have no memory of their past. They’ve managed to create a mini society of their own. They’ve even been able to create a hierarchy order. The main conflict in this book is that all of sudden they send a new boy to the dome with a note. The note says that they will not be receiving
