Heroes In Greek Mythology
A hero is usually a man or woman in Greek Mythology and is a celestial descendant (Karas, Megas). Heroes who are human are not in any way respected less than those who were gods. Some of these heroes also rise above the others in bravery and reputation (Simon). The tasks these people have to complete help humanity progress faster, once they complete these important duties they are preferred by the gods. The gods watch over the demi-gods until they participate I an act that catches their attention. This is when the gods notice that the heroes have done a specific amount of good deeds or tasks (Simon). After, the gods and goddesses give them a gift, it usually consists of wisdom or helping intervene themselves within their powers (Simon).
