Heroes Essay

Have you ever thought you were a hero? Has anyone ever thought you were a hero? A quote from everyday hero from Ana is, “Everyday people ask me are you ok?” She reply’s “I’m fine” Even when she is not just to keep the comfort ability of others. In this essay I will talk about several heroic characters such as Mulan, A man, And 6 year old hero. Heroic traits such as selfless, Determined, and humble. I will also talk about what a hero is not! Spread through this essay I will talk about what is a hero in my eyes. First, A hero can be courageous but in some cases they can be afraid but will fight through the fear. To describe Ana from an everyday hero is courageous because she battles cancer everyday, not only for her kids but for others. A person like this is a hero to me. But in other cases there are people who are not courageous, To explain Laura from the fan club did not have the courage to stand up to her peers when they ridiculed Rachel. Secondly, Another representation of heroism is Mulan and her great triumph to glory. To describe Mulan risk her life and being selfless to battle the Huns at the festival of gratitude. Through out the traitorous battles and endless fighting she risk her life for the safety for others. A negation of this would be when uncle Henry hired Tim carter to kill Luke’s companion a dog named Dan. Third, A even better display of heroism is the soldier from A man who lost his arm in the war. His displays a great act of determination. To explain he states he will only do everything in haves, but also states “were the arm was a wing grew” I think this is a valid statement that not only does he not need the arm he is stronger with out it. A display that would negate this is if Luke Baldwin was not determined to keep his dog companion Dan. If this deed was not done Dan would have died and Luke would go into a deep depression. In result I have stated comes to me as hero. Weather its being selfless, humble, or determined

Often people have to endure tests of character in order to prove who they are. It is when people have to face great opposition that their character is truly shown; we see whether people are heroes or cowards. Those who are heroic always stand up for their morals and never back down and do selfless acts for the good of others. When people encounter moments where they have to face opposition they can do either of two things; they can stand up for what they believe in and do what they think is the right thing to do, or they can sit back and let someone else do it and simply try to ignore the problem. The ones who always stand up for what they believe are the people who are true heroes. People who have a heroic character will constantly rise up and speak out loud when they see that something wrong is going on. The people who are heroes are incredibly important to society, because they are the people who work for a better tomorrow; they are the people who are willing to sacrifice themselves for something better.…

He faces countless challenges, meets new people, and has to make sacrifices for the overall benefit of his crew (Bowler and Homer 645-705).…
