Hero Vs Random Martyr
The definition of a hero seems to constantly be regarded as a person who is admired for their good deeds. I’ve always considered heroes to be people who aren’t just only appreciated for good deeds but similar to martyrs. The significant difference between my interpretation of a hero and a random martyr is that a martyr will suffer or die for a cause which ,most likely, will not benefit everyone while a hero will die for something that would have helped everyone. A hero’s motive must be that he or she wants the safety of the people they protect and they must be ready to suffer for their cause. An example of this would be ,in my opinion, the U.S. army.
