Heidi Meele Interview Essay
I am writing on behalf of Heidi Megele, a remarkable young woman who I have had the pleasure of mentoring over the past 6 years at Interconnector (UK) Ltd in my capacity of Operations Director.
Heidi is one of our most promising and dynamic employees. Her professional input is constructive, creative and reflects her varied skillset. She has become an indepensible part of the organiation. She is highly motivated and driven by an amazing passion to succeed; she has the full support of the management team and is trusted with our more creative and strategic tasks. She has displayed a number of desirable qualities that we look for within a future leader: individual impact, enormous creativity, an analytical skillset and excellent communication

Her ideas resulted in several actions from the CEO and senior management team, which included a review of our current PR and marketing strategy as well as the development and implementation of a formal social media strategy and policy. She developed a compelling case for the use of an enterprise social network within the organisation which we believe will greatly enhance internal collaboration and communication, as well as improve customer relationships, knowledge sharing, and maxizimise product development. As the result of all her efforts a media and communications working group has been created to fully support and implement these projects and objectives. As acting CSR manager she was trusted to create our media briefing and first CSR video; successfully caputuring the alignment our company's social and environmental activities with its business purpose and values. I don’t believe anyone else wihin the organisation would have had the same resourcefulness and dedication in delivering solutions. I am delighted that we gave her the

My Visual Art professor, Victoria Moore is an interesting and established human whose love of the arts got her where she is today. She works at SUNY Brockport full time and is well known in her department. Both the public and I know her to be creative, friendly, and a great teacher. Her work goes beyond the classroom through her own projects and artistic creations. When she is not in the classroom, she is grading papers, preparing new assignments, looking for class examples, responding to emails, ordering supplies, and, her personal favorite, working on her own jewelry and utensil line.…

Russ Posten, neighbor and close family friend, entered the breakfast room of my house for the interview, happy and positive, true to his nature. Sitting down, eager to begin, he gave me a brief over-view of his life. He lived in California until fifth of sixth grade, when he moved to Spokane, Washington. He started off at Jefferson Elementary, “was poured into Sacajawea Middle School, and dumped into Lewis and Clark.” In elementary and middle school he reported being socially awkward, but for Posten, high school was a time of social prosper. While these four years were a lot of fun, they were also very trying and life-defining.…

For my interview, I chose to have a very close family member tell part of her life story, For the purpose of this interview, we will call her Karla. She came to the United States with her parents when she was a little girl. She grew up in the middle of two cultures, exposed to two different ways of life. She always manages to be in a great mood and I can always count on her opinion on many subjects, with the certainty she always tries to approach every subject with a non-bias opinion. She grew up knowing the good and bad about being a bilingual child, raised with parents that did not speak Spanish. She is always telling us stories on “when she was growing up.” She managed to put herself through college with no family financial assistance.…

During my recent interview with Celeste Lopez, the secretary of the Spanish department at Fresno Pacific University, I asked what percentage of the work week she spent writing. Her response was the following, “I currently work on recruiting students as well as administering and expanding the services provided by the Spanish department office. This includes working to aid and offer solutions to the students and faculty at the university. These solutions range from major and financial assistance as well as providing opportunities to attend professional seminars to gain experience and make connections. I would say that I spend about 4 hours or more each day writing emails, proposals, and new documentation for the populace”. After calculating the amount of time, she spends in her office, as well as at home, Ms. Lopez estimated about ¼ of her time is spent writing. However, most of this writing is done electronically. With emails being one…

I sat down to interview my high school basketball coach over the break to see what it took and how long it took for him to get where he is today in the coaching world. It took him 5 years to get his bachelor degree in sports management from Oklahoma State University. Coach Thomlinson has been coaching for 8 years and teaching for 6, the first two year he started off coaching was an assistant coaching job at Oklahoma Christian University then moved to Luther High School for 4 years and finally moved to Bethel High School where he became my head coach. He is a basketball coach and teaches health wellness. A typical work day for him are the hours 730a.m to around 4p.m out of season and in season the hours consist of about 730a.m to around 10p.m, the in season works consists of practice, planning practice, teaching, game film, game film on opponents, strategizing, and of course coaching the actual games. Out of season work just consists of teaching, practice, and finding out on want we need to work on to get better. Out of season he has the whole evening off with the family and then most of the summer with the family other than that little bit of time that is taken up by summer basketball camps but when basketball season starts “my team becomes my family” Coach Thomlinson said. The dream job for me is of course Duke University he said jokingly, But in all seriousness the dream coaching job for me would just to have a great group of kids that are coachable and of course a winning record every ear wouldn’t hurt. The highest dollar check I could get now in high school basketball would just depend on what school I went to and what their budget is, but more than likely a coaching job in Texas for high school would pay more than a high school coaching job in Oklahoma. The pros of teaching and coaching are that you can make sure that your players are being more respectful in class, keeping up in their classes, and…
