I’m talking about all the different kinds of relationships; you with your parents, with friends, with a “special someone”, and more and more. For example, take a relationship with your parents. Imagine that you and your parents are Lincoln Logs. Your parents are like the base of a tower while you expand up from there. If there are arguments or major disagreements with your parents, then the base would become shaky and may make the tower fall. In contrast, look at a relationship between you and your friends. Most of the time, you and your friends work together well and keep the relationship stable. But, if you don’t like something about them or if they change into something you’re not comfortable with, then your pieces might not fit together/fit together anymore and that relationship would break apart. Building up strong relationships is something that I want to do in my life, and it’s very important to…

A healthy relationship is a relationship which has respect, honesty, trust, communication, equality and acceptance for who the other person or people may be. On the other hand, an unhealthy relationship is a relationship which has selfish, abusive, irresponsible, aggressive and manipulative behavior. I will be discussing how the relationship of Gerry Bertier and Julius Campbell transformed from an unhealthy relationship to a healthy relationship. As well as a theme from the movie that is equality.…

When people think of relationships they generally romanticize them right from the start, but this isn’t always the case. Although romantic relationships are a large part in our lives, MOST relationships don’t actually hold a romantic tie at all. For instance, there is: student-teacher, mother-daughter, and sister-brother relationships, just to list a few. All of which are important and often overlooked as being any type of significant relationship. Also notable, is the way that mainstream media tends to emphasize and urge people to constantly be working on your loving, romantic relationships but ignore the building of these other types of bonds.
