HAVING CHILDREN WHILE YOUNG
(pros and cons)
One of the largest problems nowadays is having children while young. That problem includes teenage parents from fifteen to eighteen years old, who aren't ready to bring up their children yet. However, having a children while young has both, advantages and disadvantages.
Being a young parent does not have many advantages, but some of them are really good. For example, young parents are more mature than their peers because they've seen how hard life really is. After few years, they will have more understanding for their teenage kid, and kid will have more understanding for his young parents. Beside that it might be better to have kids when you're young and you have the energy, health, time and flexibility for children, than when you are older.
However, having a kid is not an easy thing. Young parents have many responsibilities, so they have to learn how to be responsible. They must have support and understanding of the society and their parents, both financial and emotional, otherwise they will not make it. Young parents have to abort their further education for their child good, what is definitely not good because it will be harder for them to get a job in the future.
To conclude, having a child is a beautiful thing that helps you build up your character, but it is also very hard and complicated. Especially for young people . So you should be very careful with your life and always think twice before you do something stupid.

Reading the book, “Promises I can keep” by Kathryn Edin and Maria Kefalas was very touching because I am also a woman and I can understand parts of their few points. To me it is so weird to see that young women are having kids at a really young age and it usually the woman that are poor. “Half of the poor woman who give birth while unmarried have no high school diploma at the time, and nearly a third have not worked at all in the last year” (2). That is really sad to see that young woman start to have children around the age 21 average. What cause these young women to have children at a young is that they are in poverty or that they would not be able to carry a child if they wait after marriage. To me that is so shocking to hear that at the age of 27 it is the time were it is hard for woman to have kids because that because now a days it is not hard for a woman to get pregnant at that age, even at an older age they get pregnant.…

The many reasons why people get married at a young age could be because of love, lust, for financial support, to become a citizen, or due to an unexpected pregnancy. Many women believe that they should spend time on career and academics rather than on the family when they are at the best age of childbearing. The pregnancy plan can stay for a long time until their careers reach their goals. Additionally, they fear that they can't have enough time and money to raise a child when they are young. On the other hand, they fear that they can't have time to have a child if they choose to have a child when they get older.
