have you ever wondered
Have you ever wondered; what would you do if someday you win the lottery? Well, I have always thought about it and the idea of having millions of dollars in my bank account just make me think about one thing; building my dream house.
First, I have to pick the perfect place to build my masterpiece. It has to be a place with the perfect climate, perfect landscape, and perfect people. I was raised in Honduras, and one day I visited Roatan which is an island in the northern part of the country. I was amazed all the time by the beauty and hospitality this place offers, it one of the most breaths taking places that I have ever visited. It has a beautiful white sanded beach, coral reefs, crystal clear river, and in the heart of the island you can find wonderful mountains and valleys full of nature and perfect landscaping. The climate is mostly warm and pleasurable. Full of palm trees, tropical fruit trees, pine trees, and green areas to enjoy and have a great time. This place definitely will be my choice number one to build my dream house.
Then, I have to look for the perfect ground to build my dream house. I grew up in a family were soccer is part of our daily living. That is why my dream house has to be built in a plain ground to be able to build my personal soccer field. In the western part of Roatan we have West End Valley which is a seventy kilometers square valley that extends from the mountain side all the way to the sea side. This is the ideal place to build my dream house and to build my sporty back yard. The best thing this island has is the beach, so I want my house to be constructed close to the ocean. This valley is the perfect ground to fulfill my needs.
Now, I have the perfect place and the perfect ground so I Have to decide the distribution, orientation, and location of the house. I want the terrain to have a stoned old world-style road to enter the property and since it’s an Olympic villa I want it to have Greek-style architecture and decorations. In

The area has both middle class and upper class areas. In the middle class areas, the houses are older cape cod and ranch houses. In the upper class areas, there are colonial, split level and large modern homes. Some of the older homes in the area are Tudor style. The area is very well kept with no abandoned structures and the streets are clean and neat. One thing that is missing is there are no sidewalks except on main thoroughfares, which creates a danger. The terrain contains a lot of hills. Some houses have backyards that have a steep drop off. There are wooded areas consisting of evergreen trees, oak and other large trees, and…

    Have You Thought Lately

My junior year in high school I vividly remember rushing to my first class and almost being knocked over by another student. Immediately I looked up and was furious, she didn't even say excuse me she just kept walking. My books flew everywhere and on top of that I was now late for class. Later, I learned that this young lady's name was Lilly. Lilly was about 5'6”, African American, and had long black hair. After Lilly bumped into me, I began to notice her more and more around school. I noticed that she was always alone, and always seemed sad, but I didn't care, she bumped into me and I thought it was rude and inconsiderate. About half way through the school year Administration sent an email out to all the parents saying that a student tried to commit suicide during school hours and alerted them that there would be a short news feed discussing the incident, it was Lilly. See, what I didn't I know about Lilly was that her father was an abusive drug addict, her mother was struggling to keep the house up and put her other two brothers through school, and Lilly was struggling with her sexuality. In David Foster Wallace's, This Is Water, he talks about our default setting as being extreme self-centeredness. He states, “Everything in my own immediate experience supports my deep belief that I am the absolute center of the universe, the realest, most vivid and important person in existence” (Wallace, 2009,…
