Harold D. Lasswell's Definition Of Politics

Harold D. Lasswell's famous definition of politics is "who gets what, when, and how," but to me, the famed musical Chicago's Razzle Dazzle song first comes to mind when I am watching political news. While my peers dismiss politics as shallow or make little attempts to understand the issues in depth, I myself love politics, a stranger to the apathy millennials leans towards. I spent hours upon hours, hearing and reading who's dissing who, the compromises and disagreements between parties, the struggles of a divided government, proposed legislation, etc.

Politics give me an opportunity to challenge myself, to learn more about how the world works, to exercise my decision-making abilities, and to grow beyond ideological camps. As an intellectual,
