Dear Hanes Headquarters:
I am a student here at SLAM Academy, I would like to request donations from your company to our students such as Hanes tshirts for our extracurricular clubs. We would like to at least receive tshirts for the following clubs: DECA, SGA, NHS, NJHS, Environmental Science,
Newspaper and etc. We believe wearing your shirts will help our school and while allowing your business you be exposed.
If you give us this opportunity and sponsor us we will hang a banner in the school gym where it is visible to everyone. Since the basketball and the volleyball team have games in the gym, other schools that we compete against come to play at our gym. The majority of the games are located at the gym therefore, many different schools will come and see the banner.
Students, coaches, and parents will come see the sign and and would want to buy your apparel. We also would accept financial assistance or other options can be provided to fundraise for money. We we were able to receive tshirts for the club we would be extremely grateful. We would accept other clothing such as sweatpants, sweatshirts or shorts.Whatever your company decides on we will be very grateful and elated, thank your company decides on we will be happy, thank you.
Sincerely,

Sports Leadership and Management Academy

From a school’s perspective, school board officials may have a conflict in whether the sport badminton should be cut from the sports program. The supporting side would support those students who specialize in badminton as their sport, they will not be able to enjoy a good experience in school since it’s a sport that only lasts for one season, students who are only able to play for a certain season which is badminton will not be able to attain a fall sports credit for their transcript. The other board official will want to cut the sport from the program. For years corporations have sponsored high school sports. Their ads are found on the outfield fence at baseball parks or on the walls of the gymnasium, the football stadium, or even the locker room. Corporate logos are even found on players uniforms. My school for example is sponsored by Pepsi in return for my school to sell their products in the vending machines. Pepsi sponsorship allows for us to have Channel 1, be privileged with vending machines and to have money to support the different sports affiliated with Wolfson High.…
