Hana's Poem 'Frustration'

In the poem “frustration” the author's point is to not judge anyone by who they are. The author is saying to have an open heart while talking to someone or first meeting someone. She also explains how people should be who they want to be and to not limit themselves. Another view she shows is to listen to what others have to say and to not shut them down. I agree with the author completely. People should be able to be who they wanna be and be able to say what they want to say. Others should not judge them or ignore them because everyone has their own opinions on a topic. Many people would go and speak to someone thinking they are lower than them and then realizing they have much more potential than they thought. The last line in the poem is “Appreciate the blessing I am meant to be”. Everyone is unique and have so much to say but are always ignored, this is frustrating to them because they can not express their feelings. Overall, I do agree with the author's message because a person can have a better
Her class was debating if schools should allow uniforms or not. Most of the class answered yes and started to describe different uniforms. They said that they should have short skirts and a t-shirt because it would look nice. Hana was not allowed to wear clothes that revealed her skin because of her religion. She asked the class on what they would do if someone would not be able to wear that type of uniform but the teacher skipped her question and went on with the class. Hana told me that she felt unwelcomed and ignored. She felt that she was not accepted in the school because she could not express her thoughts. Hana did not think much of this at the time but now that she is older, she has thought back to that moment and realized how others might not care about what you have to say but to say it anyways because you might regret it
