Globalization
Which parties experience advantages from the globalization of the flat-panel industry? The parties that experience the advantages of the globalization of the flat-panel industry are not only Vizio, but the consumers that purchase the product. This is because each part of the product is manufactured in a different area of the world with the final product being assembled in Mexico. Which allows for lower selling prices on the product. As a result of this “Vizio's flat-panel TVs have produced more than $2.5 billion in 2021 and by 2011, the company was the second largest provider to the U.S. Market with a 15.4% share” (Hill, C., 2013, p. 9) Which parties experience disadvantages from the globalization of the flat-panel industry?
