Lagundi is a shrub that can be easily found and grown in the Philippines. It is said to be and effective and proven herbal medicine that has a reparative value. This plant is often used to treat clods, flu, asthma, bronchitis and pharyngitis. Most parts of the lagundi plant have medicinal value. This experiment will be able to lessen the use of chemicals in the body with curing all kinds of sicknesses in a natural way.

In our time now, the common sicknesses we experience in the Philippines are colds, flu and asthma. There are a lot of medications to treat this but sometimes, too much chemicals in our body can harm our system and make us more sick. This research will be discussing about the effect of vermiculture to the growth rate of our chosen plant Lagundi (Vitex negundo). Vermiculture is the management of worms and expounds the potential for waste production and most importantly fertilizer production. Vermiculture is also said to enhance the growth of plant.

This research used Lagundi (Vitex negundo) as the experimental subject because of the many benefits this plant can bring to the people. Our experiment aids to study the effect of vermiculture in a certain plant and also experiment on something that will be beneficial to the people.

Lima beans are an interesting crop of beans that grow in the warm season. They are native to Central America, but can be grown elsewhere. They are a very nutritious bean. They are high in protein, thiamine, riboflavin, and iron (Mierzejewski, 2009). The growth of lima beans is affected by both physical and nutritional factors. The physical factors include the pH of the soil (6.0 to 6.8), temperature range (60° and 70°F) and moisture content of the medium in which the organism is growing. The nutritional factors include the amount of Carbon, oxygen, hydrogen, phosphorous, and other trace elements provided in the soil (LaLiberte, 1985).The purpose of the experiment was to investigate and observe the effect of the organic vs. synthetic fertilizers…

AbstractDifferent pH level may affect the growth and development of the plants. Certain key words include: pH level, germination, acidity, osmosis and diffusion. This experiment examines the effects of different pH level of vinegar on the growth of bean plants. Materials used in this experiment consist of: water (pH 6), vinegar with the pH level of 3, 4 and 5 (each one were made before experiment), beans, soil, and pots. Eight bean plants were planted, two were watered with pH 6 and the other ones were each watered with pH 5, pH 4 and pH 3 vinegar. The results were that beans watered with pH 3 shrunk and began to die, pH 4 beans were growing at a slow rate, beans watered with pH 5 grew at a fairly normal pace and pH 6 grew the fastest. Overall, the more acidic the environment, the harder it is for plants to survive.…
