Most of the time, H&M can hold special events such as cocktail hour during fashion weeks , a pre sale party or a after fashion show parties where celebrities and press can be invited to take part. Since 2010, the company has changed the format of its special events, now only press and celebrities can have access to these events. We can see this with when H&M launched its Fall2010 collection, the company organized an event called H&M Fashion Party in Poland where many polish designers and stylists had to take part in a competition that was financed by Hennes and Mauritz AB and a fashion website called Stylio.pl. . The winners of this contest had to give advise to customers about fashion and share their shopping tips with the attendees. At the same party, customers were able to make purchase on everything sold during the party(Fall 2010 collection) for 25% off . Although, this company prides itself about its partnerships with famous designers, it took this organization a long time before being able to have its collection on high fashion runways. 2010 is the year where, we could see the company ‘s limited collection created by the famous high-end fashion creator of Lanvin Robert Elbaz(Figure 37) displayed during the New York Fashion Week (Figure 38). This big step has brought many more showcasing of H&M products on runways such as in fall 2013, where H&M presented their very first ever fashion show during Paris Fashion Week and this has earned the company a very prestigious spot in the industry. The goal of these shows is to create buzz and get people talking about the brand. This is the reason why every attendee from actors, musicians etc… has to wear an item of the guest designer so that can give a huge exposure to the brand. During these events , H&M only showcases their limited collections that will be sold online or some physical stores. . To

The largest group that I observed to shop in this store are young (high school to college-age), white, middle-class women. Some of them appear to be tourists, some perhaps not. The most frequented “style section” by this demographic is the new arrivals section, which has the store’s latest acquisitions and hottest fashions. By advertising a cutting-edge style (as seen in their ads, store design, and merchandise) offered at reasonable prices, H&M attracts this kind of…
