Gun Control Vs Gun Rights
In 2016 alone there were over 15,000 gun related deaths in the United States. Over half these deaths were violent deaths (murder, mass shootings, etc.) If this doesn’t prove that America has a gun problem, I don't know what will. The debate over gun control versus gun rights has been raging for years. Gun control activists have been battling congress for years now, but the second amendment makes congressmen and women hesitant to pass any laws that limit gun rights. I believe that America needs to take a stand and finally put limitations that make getting guns harder. Something needs to be done about the epidemic in this country, and it begins with Congress.
