Gun Control Good Or Bad Essay
What do you think about gun control are you against or for it? I believe that guns are good unless you are using it for bad things. People that use guns for bad should have no guns. People that use guns to protect they should keep there guns.

The issue about gun control is some people use there guns for bad reasons. Some people use it to harm people which it ruins it for other people that are using there guns for good purposes. You can say guns are important because they can protect you from animals like bears, lion, and etc. or bad people like abusers, burgalers, and etc.

Gun control laws infringe upon the right to self-defense and deny people a sense of safety. Gun control laws will not prevent criminals from obtaining guns or breaking laws. More gun control is unnecessary because relatively few people are killed by guns. Gun control laws and lower gun ownership rates do not prevent suicides.(http://gun-control.procon.org/)

This supports my claim because it shows both sides of view. It tells us how gun control can save life's like people that are trying to kill themselves. It also tells us how guns don't help us because people keep themselves from ending there life's.

Are you for or against gun control? For me I agree with gun control because it can help people stay safe. Guns can protect you if you are using it in the proper way. For example you can protect your self from animals, burgalers, and etc. so I believe that guns are good for certain people that uses there guns for good. But the bad people we need to take guns away for them. So are you for or against gun control? What do you

It is quite clear that by looking at criminals intentions and the overall protection of our country's people gun control should not be administered. Since the establishment of our great nation guns have played a central role and have been of great importance. Though some may think that guns are weapons of war, crime, and violence our Founding Fathers realized they were an essential right that needed to be preserved for the citizens. In the Bill of Rights the Second Amendment of the Constitution reads "A well regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms shall not be infringed." Proponents of stricter guns laws believe mass shootings and other violent crimes would decrease with stricter gun control but opponents believe making guns harder to get will take away our second amendment right to bear arms and that if everyone had a gun they would be able to protect themselves and that in itself would reduce violent crimes. Both sides of the issue has opinions, facts and statistics that support their claims. However, I still stand firm in my conviction for stricter guns laws. I believe the pros definitely out weight the cons. Stricter guns laws should include more comprehensive background checks to include gun owners and anyone who has access to the guns, longer waiting periods, and evaluations for mental illness and depression.…

Gun control is one of the most debatable topics in present day. Gun control refers to laws or policies that regulate the manufacture, sale, transfer, possession, modification, or use of firearms. These firearms include handguns, machine guns, rifles etc. People use these weapons for multiple reasons. Some use it for sport, for example: hunting or practicing at the gun range. Others buy it for protection while others use it for violence. Having a firearm requires responsibility. The person that wields a gun is responsible for his safety or others. They are also responsible for using a weapon against someone. According to procon.org, ''The United States has 88.8 guns per 100 people, or about 270,000,000 guns, which is the highest total and…

Gun control should not be in force because it only affects the people who follow the laws. If weapons were banned, that is, putting gun control into effect, the people who follow laws won’t be able to protect themselves from people who don’t abide by the laws. The main purposes of fire arms is self- protection and hunting. So if the government tries to take our weapons away from us we can just throw the 2nd amendment at them and tell them that this is unconstitutional. We understand they are trying to cut down on crime, but it is actually making the crime rates go up. In Britain the government thought it would bring the crime/murder rate down but, it actually increased about 1 million more deaths each year. The government is trying to get is ammo they are trying to limit ammo manufactures to a certain amount of ammo a day. They are also making people go into havoc and making them go crazy over ammo, so people are buying…

Gun Control is a huge issue in the United States. It was declared in our constitution in the 2nd amendment that we have the right to bear arms. Every person is entitled through the second amendment to legally own and use fire arms. There are many issues that have come up with gun control: conceal and carry, semi-automatic weapons, and gang violence. Many people in this beautiful country we call the United States, feel like they need to take away the right to bear arms. To me I believe this is wrong. I believe you should be able to legally own and operate a weapon in a safe and secure manner. Anyone that is a law abiding citizen should be able to own a firearm.…
