As I finish yet another assignment I take a deep breath in, and then exhale out in satisfaction, the only smell I can identify is the smell of success. I take a quick break to re-organize and re-focus. My stomach begins to growl but I know I can’t leave until I finish all of my homework. None of the schools I have attended had a uniform requirement and many students dressed in ways I found inappropriate. The private school I attended had a strict dress code but public school teachers often overlook the violation of dress code. School uniforms bring a more formal look; giving the school a better reputation and creating a sense of belonging among the students. My style is very diverse and reveals my general interests, whether it be nerdy shirts, girly clothing or vintage outfits from the 40's. Personally, I have always been comfortable in my clothing whether I fit in with others or not. In fact, I always prefer to look different and I have more than enough clothing to express my unique style. I do, however, have friends that always feel under pressure to wear the right clothing and often borrow clothes from me. It is reasons such as these why all schools should require uniforms. School uniforms may be the prominent aspect of our society’s road to success in educating its…

Students hate walking inside the school and taking off your hat? You wish you could keep it on and take it off whenever you please. I know this feeling and I bet you do to. This rule in schools limits the way we express ourselves. Wearing hats in school is harmless. All students should be able to wear hats in school because it is a public school. There should be no restrictions on how you express yourself. Students are just expressing how they feel by wearing It any way they want. Some kids are Goth and wear all black, some girls are preppy and only wear pink, there are so many ways to show who students are really are but by taking away their right to wear what the want doesn't give them a way to show who they are but through the way their hair looks like. Some people might say that you can show individuality by their shoes or their jewelry, but I think they are wrong. I think they are wrong because maybe some students don't wear jewelry or their parents don't have a lot of money to go out and spend money on shoes.…
