Gregor's Metamorphosis: Why Does Gregor Care So Much About His Work
Why does Gregor care so much about his work? In chapter one Of “The Metamorphosis” the main character Gregor he discovers that he has morphed into an insect. Despite his appearance, Gregor mainly concerned about getting to his job as a traveling salesman rather than what his family, coworkers and customers may think. This behavior led to the question of why he feels this way about his job. I think that because of Gregos selfless and caring personality he values supporting his family who is in debt, in anyway he can. Gregors selflessness is shown when it says “Then why was [Gregor’s sister]crying?
