Green technology is technology that is environmentally friendly. There are many types of green technology. There is green energy, green transportation, and green construction. It is the future of our society. To have a healthier human population, a healthier Earth is needed. The amount of damage done to the Earth has been suspected to have caused global warming. Pollution must be decreased to decrease global warming, and by the increased use of green technology it could increase the health of the Earth. Green energy is renewable unlike other energy sources such as fossil fuels. Even though green technology seems costly at first, the use of it should be increased because it is renewable, less costly, more efficient, and reduces pollution.
A part of green technology is green energy. Energy is very important to life. People use energy to keep the house warm, the lights on, and the food cold. There are many different types of green energy. One type of energy is solar. “Solar panel technologies promising enhanced power output The concept of non-conventional sources of energy is becoming a major subject of research as our planet is running out of its resources of non-renewable energy such as coal, petroleum, etc” (Athena Information Solutions Pvt. Ltd (2011)). Solar panels are a great way to harvest the suns energy to provide you with electricity. Solar panels are made up of a series of photovoltaic cells connected together. When the sun heats up these cells it stores the charged energy into batteries. This is what helps people to power their homes.
The next energy source is wind. People can create wind energy by using wind turbines. Converting wind energy into electricity is clean, renewable and sustainable, therefore, the wind supply will never run out. “One 1.8MW wind turbine produces enough electricity for 1,000 households every year” (Sample (2008)). Wind is continuous and by the use of wind

Rodman D. Griffin’s article entitled “Alternative Energy: Can Renewable Energy Sources Replaces Fossil Fuels?” is about alternative methods of getting energy. The article goes into great detail of how America has gone into such an increase in using oil and other non-renewable resources. America spends billions of dollars a year on oil and gas to fuel the countries working class. This was incorporated in my paper along with other facts that Griffin uses throughout his article. His article gave me insight to the crisis that we face everyday and a new wave of thinking when it comes to alternative energy.…

The first contribution for sustainable environment by new technology is helping people to explore sources of renewable energy. This means that with the help of new technology, people can make full use of natural sources to create green and renewable energy that people cannot image nor realize before. Such as tidal power, wave power, solar power, wind power and so on. According to Jamie Frater (2009), “These sources of energy provide an alternate ‘cleaner’ source of energy, helping to negate the effects of certain forms of pollution. All of these power generation techniques can be described as renewable since they are not depleting any resources to create the energy.” For instance, the wind power, people set wind turbines to transform wind energy into electricity or mechanical energy. In the process of creating energy, there is no consumption of resources. It…

The people civilization develops rapidly in XXI century, and the results of this progress effect on environment in a negative way and it is gaining more turn. However, in order to deal with problem of environment pollution, green engineering was made. These kinds of engineers try to reduce the emission of their product, develop devices that consume less electricity, in other words, their work is development of devices, which can be suitable for people’s progress and for environment conservation. The most hazardous for environment are emission from vehicles and factories, waste disposal and deforestation, which consequences is air and water pollution, temperature changing, extinction of animals. In order to deal with these problems, several methods and technologies were invented. This journal is going to analyze the two methods of green engineers, which are possible solutions for reducing the negative impact on nature.…
