One piece of advice I would say is don’t chew gum. It probably seems really stupid but do it it will save you because teachers might write you up. You probably should avoid groups of people in the hall’s because if you get in there way and they get mad you probably will end in a fight and that is probably what you shouldn’t do. Seventh grade might seem really hard but with eighth grade the test get harder, and the teachers aren’t lenient. Also in eighth grade the teacher mold you to make you ready for high school. Another thing that teachers hate is when people stand in groups of hall’s, when you're in a group in the hall it slows everyone and makes them late. One thing people have always told me is that I remind them of the person Randall Cobb from the book game changers. He has one of the most creative and unique personalities. He is passionate for the game of basketball by working hard on his time. Randall is also talented in the subjects math and science by pushing himself to make good grades. He also thrives to help people even if it's with school work, personal problems, or on the basketball court. All in all he was almost exact the same person as I am he likes basketball, he helps others, and he does well in school.…

There is a lot of basics to survive your freshman year. You have to try to stay on the good said with the seniors. Occasionally, the upperclassman will pick on you because you are the youngest in the school. Also, try to do your work in the high school. This is not middle school anymore where the teachers just tell you the answers. Starting your freshman year, start looking at colleges and what you want to be when you graduate because colleges will look at that with your grades. Don’t think all the upperclassman is friends with you because just because they talk to you doesn’t mean they aren’t going to pick on you for being the youngest. Try to stay on the teacher’s good side too because they don’t always let you return in late work especially…

Moving to a new school, I admit, is quite frightening. Especially if you are moving in the middle of school year where everybody had already found their own group of friends. But this can change. Maybe moving to a new school can be so much better than staying in your old school, or it can the best and unforgetable experience for you at school. In order to achieve that, here are some tips that can help you. First, ask the teachers in charge of the informations you might need or know in the school. You may contact them via phone or directly. The informations you got from the teachers in charge could be used by you as a guidence to help you adapting in the new school. The teachers whose in charge, whether its a He or she could tell you how to dress for the first day and the things you need. Since you’re a new student and have no idea of the rules, They will probably tell you about things that are prohibited by the school to be worn on the first day, no skinny jeans, no mohawk hairstyles, no braceletes, no crop tops, and manyore. Second, prepare everything beforehand. It will decrease the possibility of forgetting important things. Third, be open-minded, don't be shy and try to talk to everyone whenever you see the opportunity. If you act like you're scared, people will be reluctant in approaching you. Just act normal and you'll be fine. The last one, make new friends. They will be the ones who help you going through your first year. Imagine… you are getting all dressed up for that big day. You get anxious and scared because it’s the graduation for eighth grade. You get all dressed up and put on your gown and cap. Then you arrive at the school. You sit in the assigned seat and watch the children before you get up and shake hands. You feel your hands get clammy as you wait. You wait till you hear your name and realize that it’s your time to shine. You stand up and hear the creaking of the harwood on your shoes. Then you feel your hands and wipe them down, but when you get up there you shine like a supernova. Everyone's eyes are on you. You realize that it’s your time to show who you are and time to reflect on your legacy here. A legacy is what you leave behind for people…

Some advice I can give you all is to stay organized. Throughout the year you will have to maintain an organized binder and will be checked if it is organized. You will learn how to keep your binder clean, so remember how to and don’t forget to organize it every day, or else you’ll forget. Another tip is to keep everything! You will be graded on whether or not you have certain things from your classes. Don’t think it’s a stupid rule but it’ll come in handy. Just imagine one day getting back an assignment with a grade, but you were told you never turned it in, well if you didn’t keep that assignment you’re screwed. Something you should also always do is take notes, but not any kind of notes, Cornell Notes. This is something else you will be being graded on. Throughout the year you will learn of better ways to organize your notes so that you can remember the concept better. Oh and a general high school tip: BE PREPARED. You have to always have at least a pencil, some paper, and always remember your book for your class. And if times get tough and you’re loaded with assignments, try to pace yourself and stay organized but try not to get too stressed, its only freshmen year.…
