Grades Management System and Portal for St. Vincent School
Area of Investigation:
With regard to academic matters, the grades of a student are the reflection of their performance in school. To provide a better organization of the records of Saint Vincent School’s students, they would require a system that can provide them the capability to record and compute the students’ grades with ease and be able to generate reports effectively and accurately with timely submission of reports. Also, with the system, the teachers would be able to provide means of determining the academic progress of each student.
Currently, Saint Vincent School manages the grading system for their students by making use of grades in a teacher’s class record to keep marks of the students, utilizing pen in writing and recording the students’ grades on the form, and using a calculator for computation purposes. Teachers spend massive time to accurately compute the grades of the students using their calculators, and, in early times, teachers manually solve grades using pen and paper.
Continuing with how Saint Vincent School is employing the management of their students’ grades may pose inaccuracy especially with the computations and recording of grades.
