“Good night, Mom”
Kyle waited anxiously as she closed the door, he then closed his eyes, and promptly fell asleep, softly drifting into the land of dreams. Suddenly, a loud call sounded, and General, what was it he was called? Custard? Coosterd? Goosterd? Goosterd sounded right, but there was no way he was a custard. Those were desserts. No matter his true name, General Goosterd ran outside to find his soldiers standing in line. The final reserves he had left in this battle. As they were his friends, and were two years old, he would find no help here. They would only serve as distractions.
Goosterd shook his head with disgust before moving to examine the armory and what little massively explosive devices he

The remaining Giants fell back to their Overlords.
The final soldiers left charged the Giant’s Fortress, intent on finishing the fight. But when they reached the throne room, they beheld a glory and a shock. All the Giant Overlords, Overpapa, Overmama, and Walter Mitty, were all showing their support to General Goosterd. Together, with the help of the Overlords, it would finally be possible to overthrow the reign of the Supreme Mama and Papa for mushy food, free toys, and other essential civil rights.
General Goosterd, in the final negotiation efforts, gave Overpapa and Overmama a large swath of land Walter Mitty, unfortunately, didn’t get anything because he started daydreaming, and despite his large size, even for a giant, he was forgotten. Toohey is both a master and a slave, bound to the people who serve him. He provides a dramatic dipole to Roark, who is wholly independent. Likewise, Wynand offers a glimpse of what Roark could have been had the aspiring architect abandoned his morality in the pursuit of power. Unlike Wynand, Roark realizes from the start that egoism and collectivism are irreconcilable. He redeems the fallen capitalist and triumphs despite the “corrosive gas” (583) that is Toohey. Through his victory over Toohey, Roark proves that the heroic man is more than a myth.…

The battle of Thermopylae was a classic underdog story, with a small group of determined soldiers fighting a vast, impenetrable army. This conflict was much like The Battle of Morgarten between Austria and Switzerland in 1315. Duke Leopold I of Austria, decided to put Europe's mutual hatred of the Swiss to good use by invading the country with a force of anywhere between 3,000 and 5,000 foot soldiers and cavalry. According to chronicler Johannes Vitoduranus, "The men of this army came together with one purpose, to utterly subdue and humiliate those peasants who were surrounded with mountains as with walls." These soldiers were extremely suited for battle, riding with heavy armor that could protect against most weapons of the time. These…
