There have been many Tupac sightings over the years and stories of his survival, and now after 17 years we have photographic proof the late Death Row artist is indeed still alive and well in New Orleans.
In this photo, snapped last weekend on Frenchmen Street, an aging Tupac can be seen passed out in a chair outside local nightclub Cafe Negril. Several tourists claimed to have seen him on Frenchmen Street the night before.
“I saw him early in the evening swing dancing to trad jazz at Maison,” said Kathy Gould, of Chicago. “We thought he looked like Tupac, but didnt think it was actually him until we got home that night and that Chevy Chase movie ‘Nothin’ but trouble’ was on, where Tupac can be seen dancin with Digital Underground in the courtroom scene, he still had some of the same dance moves!”
Another tourist, Greg Burns of Atlanta, noticed Tupac a bit later in the evening. ”He was standing next to me at the bar inside Negril eating a taco. He asked me to pass him the hot sauce. I thought he looked familiar and I asked him where I knew him from, without even looking up he just said…’I get around’.
