Good Literature Makes Us Think About World
"Good literature makes us think about the world". In the novel Lord of the Flies there are many themes that make you think about the world such as Civilisation, Fear, Rule & Order. The literature in this book backs up this statement and relates to the world today.
Civilisation is one of main themes in lord of the flies and is a important role in the world we live in today. Civilisation is shown in the novel when Samneric are at Jacks outpost getting tide up by Jacks savages, Samneric then says "Oh, I say!-honestly ". This quote reveals that Samneric are still civilised by the fact that they can still be well mannered even with the situation they are facing.
