The understanding of God, Flag, and Country, is something that I strongly grasp as a young American. In my life I have witnessed the amazing things these they do in our lives. To me, God has always helped in life through problems that I have faced. However, soldiers that are fighting for our country have kept God close to their fearless hearts. As General George Marshall said “Military power wins battles, but spiritual power wins wars.” I know in my heart that everyday and night God looks down from the heavens and blesses our soldiers who fight with courage. While freedom surges through their hearts. God has given service men and women as well as citizens, the strength to never lose sight of our ever beloved country and to keep fighting each day.
