Goals For Becoming A Professional Nurse
Statement of Goals

My goals involved with becoming, or being, a nurse are to:

• Successfully complete the pathway to becoming a Registered Nurse by graduating from the KCC Nursing Program and passing the NCLEX.

o This is the first step towards beginning my life as a professional nurse. With diploma and license in hand I can start my nursing career as an RN.

• Commit myself to lifelong learning and gain nursing experience through a job and community involvement.

o The pathway to becoming a professional nurse requires experience. I have future plans to continue onto a BSN program after gaining more in-field experience first. By working as a nurse I wish to deepen my understanding of the nursing field and gain further knowledge about
