Glyburide Case Study

Glyburide, a second-generation sulfonylurea, is related with hypoglycemia more often than most other sulfonylureas. Now glyburide is not suggested for patients with renal damage (creatinine clearance of less than 50 mL/min) or severe hepatic damage because of the risk of hypoglycemia.
