global warming

Some people believe that the earth is being harmed by human activity. Others feel that human activity makes earth a better place to live. My opinion is that people are harming the earth more than helping earth becoming a better place. Human activity is harming not only the earth but the living habitats of animals and people as well. Our planet earth is being affected by global warming. Many scientists have proved the harm from global warming has increased over the years.
The most obvious harm is the higher sea levels. Global warming cause the temperature to rise, there will be more hot weathers. These can cause disasters such as storms, heat waves, and acid rainfall. The warmer climates melted many ice caps which are increasing the sea levels. The water is reaching these lands and flooding them over. Many places in the coasts around the world, will disappear if this happens, places such as Shanghai, Holland, San Francisco, Florida. This brings many other problems such deaths and many diseases from food.
Another main negative effect is the bad life conditions that many parts of the world will suffer. These bad life conditions may be starvation and deaths due to short food supplies. Human health will be decreasing because of the air pollution in our environment, and will cause problems such as allergies and asthma. By make more land for houses people start to cut down trees. Cutting down trees can cause many to lose their habitats. Tree roots cannot hold the soil in place and absorb water from the soil making the soil harder to store water which cause flooding.
Some people believe that the earth is being harmed by human activity. Others feel that human activity makes the earth a better place to live. Human are trying to help the earth by recycling, but we are mostly just trying to repair what we damaged not really actually helping the earth. It seems to me that human activity is causing more harm than good.

The humans are definitely hurting our environment. I have many sources and claims that prove it. Ultraviolet B Rays can cause skin cancer and cause cataracts in humans and can harm animals. Also inhibits phytoplankton, from the bottom of the bottom of the food chain which can affect other organisms and animals that are key to the environment. Chlorofluorocarbons are in aerosol cans and they primarily culprits in the ozone layer. When see if CFCs reach the upper atmosphere they can exposed to ultraviolet rays. They break down into substances including chlorine. Chlorine reacts with oxygen atoms and rips apart the ozone layer. One atom of chlorine can destroy more than 100,000 ozone molecules. The ozone layer above Antarctica is being impacted…

The repercussions are droughts and lack of food for society. This later leads to starvation, the decrease of organisms and economy issues. Another way global climate has been changing is shown in a diagram mapping out climate connections which states, “Greenhouse gases and the changes occurring in our climate make a connection due to one affecting the other. Since greenhouse gases trap more energy than needed, the climate is not used to this type of atmosphere, therefore causing problems such as melting snow, warming oceans, and droughts. Ultimately, the greenhouse gases add unnecessary hear and changing climates in a negative way”(Document 1). Based on this change, humans should do something in the near future about global climate change because the result of this affects weather patterns and the atmosphere as a whole. As the atmosphere deteriorates it brings other factors that are out of the ordinary such as a surplus of natural disasters, vicious storms, and dreadful temperatures. It is obvious that the world is changing in a negative way because humans are treating it in a negative way by neglecting the atmosphere and claiming the climate change is being fixed, yet adding on to the issue on the way. This worsens the situation and is melting away the blue world called Earth. The planet is gradually melting away, not to mention along with the polar ice caps, and will continue if the problem is not handled. As a final point, global change is obviously an immense complication that we as human beings should manage in the near future or it will be…

The most significant effect that people have on the environment is the power to choose to pollute it. Ever wonder about all the ways we pollute the world everyday? Probability not, nowadays people are more careless about the environment. Sadly, because of our actions the world is being destroyed. Since people are becoming lazy and not throwing their trash away, the environment is swimming in litter. Also, because of our trash millions of innocent animals are dying each year from consuming or getting stuck in garbage. Plus all of the pollute we make is causing global warming. Humans has affected the surrounding environment for thousands of years but we have started to drastically negatively affect the ecosystem such as burning trash, burying radioactive waste, overhunting of animals and many other things. As the global population expanded at an unprecedented rate, humans fundamentally changed their relationship with the environment. Human’s population growth changed their relationship with the environment for the worse and did not change until environmental issues were realized and people realized they needed to do something to stop more environmental damage to the earth. Humans exploited and competed over the earth’s finite resources more intensely than ever before inhuman history. Also, global warming was a major consequence of the release of greenhouse gases and other pollutants into the atmosphere. However, in the 1970s governments took initiatives to preserve and protect the environment.…

The first group of experts believes that human interaction with the planet is in no way harmful. They stand on the grounds that the planet will be able to recover from any exploitation man performs on it. Earth has an automatic system to correct itself from factors that might threaten it. This homeostatic process guarantees its existence regardless of how drastic, harmful, or negative human actions might come to be. It can correct itself through balancing any harmful changes. Earth has “automatic processes to preserve itself from changes” (Moore 45).…

This happens due to raised sea levels which lead to flooding, wild forest fires, fluctuating electric issues and many others that affect home, government power lines, railroads, sea bearing vehicles and many more. Another thing in our economy that it affects is our crops. With the heating of the earth’s surface, many of the individual type of climates around the world are going through periods of fluctuation and change, especially those around the poles due to the rapid heating due to this heating. With this in mind, farmers and scientists are having to compensate financially for such issues and spend money on cooling systems and other devices meant to bring equilibrium to a farm. Raising the price for farming not only makes it harder for the farmers, but also for the consumer because that raises the price of crops. The economy suffers in this regard as…

To ‘normal’ people it sounds like all these scientists and researchers are making a fuss about something so trivial. But is global warming really a trivial matter or, are the people unconscious about the danger of global warming. If you are conscious about it, you will see that the world is changing slowly due to global warming. Ice is melting worldwide, animals have moved to higher and cooler places, precipitation has increased and an increase of insects. But if global warming continues like this, it can become a disaster. There are possibilities that parts of the world will go under water, because the sea level rises. Floods and drought will occur more often, less fresh water will be available, due to the melting of the ice caps. Not only that, but animal species will be extinct, like the polar bear. Researcher Bill Fraser showed that the numbers of Adélie penguins on…
