Through my research on global warming it is apparent that global warming is not a problem at all. In fact everybody needs to consolidate the fact that global warming is helping mankind in many different ways. The environment warming up, the ocean levels rising, and the increase in carbon dioxide are all benefits to the environment, economy, and mankind in general.
As the world warms up people will not have to heat their house. This is beneficial in many aspects. Not only will this save homeowners and businesses money it will also use less natural gas, which can be saved for other things. Also power plants will not have to produce as much electricity. This will reduce the amount of fossil fuels consumed by power plants, since the majority or power plants burn coal to produce electricity.
With the temperatures on the rise the icebergs and polar ice caps will be melting. This is but a miraculous thing. For one the coastline will go inland a couple hundred miles. Thus people who have property along the new coast will have an increase in property value, due to their property now being beachfront property. Also fruits that thrive close to the coastline, such as citrus fruits, would flourish close to the new coastline, bringing fruits closer to other places and reducing the cost of shipping the fruits. This would reduce the amount of impoverished countries around the world.
With no more icebergs or polar ice caps naval passage with be much easier. Also captains will not have to worry about running into any icebergs, and recreating another titanic experience. Over-sea shipments or cruises will not take as long because the captains would not have to avoid any icebergs.
As the carbon dioxide levels in the air increase, plant growth would also show an increase. Since plant growth will be on the rise the price on fruits and vegetables will decrease, also producing enough food to help end world hunger. With plant growth on the rise the plant industry will fully benefit. Also everybody’s yard will flourish and look extravagant, relieving the stress of having to worry about how your yard looks.
Global warming should be looked upon as a blessing rather than a burden. It is time for humankind to stop degrading global warming and start praising it. With property values increasing, plant growth increasing, food prices decreasing, and world hunger diminishing who wouldn’t want global warming?

In the 20th century, the Earth's temperature rose about one degree Fahrenheit, but in the past thirty years it has gone up 3 degrees. (Planet it Peril) These warm temperatures can have dramatic effects on the planet. The polar ice caps will eventually melt, which will flood all low lying areas around the world. Some other effects are that people are dying due to heat, more and worse hurricanes are occurring, and toxic plants, animals, and insects are migrating to places they've never been before. At the same time, the earth’s ability to absorb carbon dioxide has greatly decreased. Absorption of carbon dioxide occurs in area of the forest, but those areas are rapidly disappearing because of forests are cut down. The carbon dioxide making the sun’s heat more intense and the temperature of the earth would be increased. Such a temperature change could be dangerous. Some area on the earth could become too hot and the water level of the ocean would rise because of the melting of polar ice. The industrialized areas are releasing more carbon dioxide into the air.…

Global warming will increase desertification in dry areas, but will increase rain fall in damp areas. The frequency of extreme weather conditions such as droughts and hurricanes will likely rise. If land based ice melts than sea levels will rise and flood low lying areas. It has even been suggested that melting ice might alter oceanic currents, turning off the Gulf Stream for example, which would make Northern Europe colder than it currently is. The end result is so complicated it is almost impossible to predict, but these are examples of things that scientist believe could occur. Overwhelming consensus is that global warming is…

Because of the climate change, the earth is in danger. People don’t realize that the things they use or do every day are hurting the earth and living things. Nature.org says, “…one-fourth of Earth’s species will be headed for extinction by 2050 if the warming trend continues at its current rate…” Because the temperature is increasing, ice is melting. Because ice is melting, sea levels are rising. Higher temperatures don’t only melt ice but evaporates the moisture in the air. Evaporation will take away all of the land’s water leaving it as dry as a desert. With a drought now in progress, it will make it harder to find water and support agriculture.…

To ‘normal’ people it sounds like all these scientists and researchers are making a fuss about something so trivial. But is global warming really a trivial matter or, are the people unconscious about the danger of global warming. If you are conscious about it, you will see that the world is changing slowly due to global warming. Ice is melting worldwide, animals have moved to higher and cooler places, precipitation has increased and an increase of insects. But if global warming continues like this, it can become a disaster. There are possibilities that parts of the world will go under water, because the sea level rises. Floods and drought will occur more often, less fresh water will be available, due to the melting of the ice caps. Not only that, but animal species will be extinct, like the polar bear. Researcher Bill Fraser showed that the numbers of Adélie penguins on…

Global warming has always been a problem for humans. In the past 650,000 years, According to NASA, Earth’s average temperature has risen 1.7 degrees fahrenheit since 1880 (Global Climate Change). In fact, January of 2017 has been the third warmest ever recorded. More funding should go into helping global climate change because rising sea levels are dangering the land, there is a major decrease in arctic ice, and rising temperatures are causing more animal species to go on the endangered list.…

If you don’t know what Global warming is it is the increase in the earth’s average temperature due to the release of several greenhouse gases into the atmosphere by humans. Global warming is affecting many different parts of the world and in turn causes a cause and effect. Glaciers are melting which is causing the sea level to rise. When the sea level rises it causes damage to people living in low lying areas, and damages to plants by covering them which causes them to die. Which in turn causes animals to lose their main source of food, and causes us humans to lose our two main sources of food. If we don’t do something about global warming everything we take for granted might disappear.…

It decreases the rate of deaths caused by extreme cold weather conditions initially lowering medical costs for the elderly who aren’t prone to withstand freezing conditions. More people prefer warmer climates, as it increases CO2 levels, impacting agriculture with its production of plants. It also makes agriculture possible in cold regions as well as shipping through trade and higher altitude fishing likelier in once unreachable places. Brian Kahn, a Science writer at Climate Central, although believes Global warming has negative impacts made an interesting point in his recent research: The Arctic Circle has been witnessing record breaking temperatures that have limited the amount of ice growth in its supposedly cool regions. The warmer climate has resulted in such a widespread decrease of ice levels that in this past August 2016, the Northwest Passage opened allowing a cruise ship to pass through. Global Warming and the rising of Earth’s surface temperatures is a beneficial factor if areas around the world that are known for sustaining freezing conditions begin experiencing warm spells that challenge yet enable their new normality and opportunities. Professor Richard Tol of Sussex University made an argument where he claimed that, “ The cold, not the heat, is the biggest killer. For the last decade, Brits have been dying from the cold at the average rate of 29,000 excess deaths each winter. Compare this to the heatwave ten years ago, which claimed 15,000 lives in France and just 2,000 in Britain”(Ridley). In the same argument he also added that, “There are many likely effects of climate change: positive and negative, economic and ecological, humanitarian and financial. And if you aggregate them all, the overall effect is positive today and likely to stay positive until around 2080(Ridley).…

Many scientists believe that Global warming will have a massive effect on the climate and weather on our planet. This could happen one of two ways. The first is that an increase in temperature will cause polar ice caps to melt. If the Earth 's major ice caps were to melt, sea level would be raised anywhere from 7-14 meters (Ramanathan, 4). This would result in severe flooding. For example, the entire bottom section of Florida would disappear completely. A second way Global Warming could turn is that a temperature increase will cause evaporation and clouding, which would lower the earth 's temperature and eventually result in an ice age(Ramanathan, 5). If either of these scenarios were to occur, the repercussions would be tragic to the entire planet and everything living on it.…
