Ghost Story
Justin was an 16 year old kid, who went to Harper High School in Chicago, Illinois. He was also an very bad person where he got really bad grades. The worst part was when, he tried to steal a very valuable diamond ring worth thousands of dollars and not get caught but, in the end he was caught by that stupid security guard at the jewelry store red handed in Chicago, Illinois. “ I hate this world, I hate life, I hate everything, why was I even born.” Justin quickly admitted that he stole the valuable diamond ring and said “I’m sorry for stealing. Can you give me a chance, please!” he said. Inside me, my heart was pumping really fast and I hoped I would not have to go to jail or anything. I started sweating all over, even my legs hoping and hoping to not go to jail or any place that is really bad. I was quickly pulled into the police car and sent to court where the judge said “ You will be sent off into a wild where you have to hunt animals and be there for one year. The place is called Camp Blue Lake. Now of you go.” said the judge i was really surprised I didn’t had to go to jail. I hope this place called “Camp Blue Lake” is any fun.

On the next day on the bus, I was sent to Camp Blue Lake and it took forever to go Phoenix, Arizona. But before I was going to ask the millionth time “Are we there yet?”, we reached to Phoenix. When I went off the bus, It was so barren, felt like 200 degrees, there were no trees, no source of water, but tons of animals that were running around and hiding all over the place. There, I saw a cabin, I ran inside and there I met a counselor named Ben, and threw me an uniform and handed me a gun. “ Put on your uniform, get your gun, and move it. If you find any animals, quickly shoot it.” I quickly walked out of the cabin and started running around the whole desert looking for an animal to hunt for. I quickly fell to the ground because I never seen a humongous deer before and I took out my sniper and aimed for the deer and pressed it and

The ghost story gave me mixed feelings on how to take it from a historian point of view. The story was Mr. Fleetwood’s own perception of what happened and how he remembered it at that moment. I will cover the rationality of trusting the content, the justification of it being historically true, and if the metaphysical evidence of ghost must be true for the story to be historically true.…

One night we were at Emili Lewis’s house. A few of us girls wanted to try to stay up all night. It had been raining so we decided we wanted to go for a drive. This point of the night it was like 1:30 a.m. We drove for a little while before we got bored. We decided to brainstorm some ideas of stuff to do. We decided we wanted to go out to Box Canyon in Kaitlin’s truck to look at the stars. It took us a little while to get everything put together. We finally started heading out there at 3:00 a.m. On the way out there we passed a truck. The truck was very short, matte black, and had a circle light bar in between the headlights. None of us recognized the truck and we got a little nervous. We decided to ignore it and keep going. For the rest of the drive we talked about boys, problems, and then we started talking about scary stuff. When we got out there we were too scared to get out of the truck, so we turned around and started back into town. We got…

On day nine of eleven and about 75 miles hiked we decided to stop at a small hunting lodge for their tour. Upon arrival we were instructed by the historical figure/tour guide that the out house or as they were named at philomont red roof inn was full to the top. She informed us to use the one down the trail on the left across the brook and through the camp. She forgot to mention that they were having a small bear problem recently. So off I went into the woods alone toilet paper in hand happy to finally have a chance to sit on a ceramic seat and not have to squat in the woods to do my business. Making a game of it I was hopping rock to rock across the brook. Not two steps after the last rock I heard a splash and some rustling to my left. To my surprise I saw the cinnamon coat of a black bear not 30 yards away from me. Not seeing many bears in my lifetime every bit of information I had ever learned about bears raced through my mind in an instant. From my knowledge I deduced that it was a bear cub and there would be a mama bear behind it that would be mad at me for being so close to its cub. so…

One sunny, hot day I was outside in my backyard playing with my friend Annabel who lived across the street from me. Then all the sudden I heard a scream that sounded like it came from my brother. I dashed out to find Morgan with a water gun pointed at my brother. I yelled at her not to shoot multiple times but she ignored me and soaked my brother. He quickly burst into tears as the water sprayed on him. I yelled at Morgan “I told you not to shoot!”. Then I took my brother by the hand and we walked back to my house to figure out how to get Morgan back.…

The main thing is, why don’t they just leave? The answer in the best haunted house literature is, they don’t leave because they cannot. Something keeps them inside. When someone takes on a house they form a bond between self and architecture. Houses are where people have to go when they are trying to hide. This makes it all the more terrifying when the houses turn on us. Our houses are everywhere.…

At first we pulled up at the field. We unloaded the truck and started to walk to the deer stand. When we got there, we loaded the gun and sat. We heard something we looked back. It was some ducks in the creek behind the stand. We also heard water tuning, leaves rustle. We also heard something walking. It was a squirrel. Later we heard something walking we thought it was a squirrel, but it was not? It was a deer. The gun I had was a 243 single shot black all over. So I slowly pulled my gun up, put the cross hairs on the deer chest and squeezed the trigger. BOOM!…

Edward Frederic Benson was born in 1867 to a distinguished English family; his father was to become Archbishop of Canterbury. He first worked as an archaeologist, and later became a full-time writer. He is best known for his ''Lucia'' stories, which gave an amusing view of English village life, full of jealousy, plots, whispers and gossip. These stories were later very popular as a television series. Benson was also successful in a very different area - ghost and horror stories. He wrote a great number of these, and preferred to have horrible creatures as their subjects rather than people. He died in 1940.…

Ten years on and I can still remember every detail from the camping trip, despite my attempts to try and forget it; it invaded my thoughts. I just couldn’t get it out my head. That morning I was so excited, the feeling so powerful it took over my whole body. That morning I was a child wrapped in innocence. That morning I was a child full of hope for what the day might offer. I remember my heart beating so quick; it was a moth against a hot light, fluttering endlessly. Butterflies scattered in my stomach made me feel sick, scared, and nervous. My palms were sweating like it was the middle of summer; adrenaline was coursing through my veins. My hands…
