EXPERIENCE Global Tutorials (New York, NY) December 2011 – Current Head Tutor
Tutored students from grades K- 9th in various subjects ranging from English, History, as well as advanced Mathematics, and different types Sciences.
In charge of overlooking and creating lesson plans for students and other tutors.
In charge of making sure all coursework material and homework packages were presented to students.
In charge of supervising other tutors on their performance in teaching and interactions with students.
In charge on consulting with parents of students, as well as making sure each student was being picked up by the registered guardian at the time of dismissal.
Insuring that each students needs were met and also provided accommodations to students with special needs. In addition to tutoring the normal class of students, was also in charge of providing educational services to students with special needs (special education).
Had a major success in raising grades of students who were in the 1-2 range in between a 3-4 grade range.
Received acknowledgement for having ever student under my supervision pass the New York Citywide examination as well as the NYS Regents Examination.
Provided parents with progress report cards.
