George Washington's Leadership
George Washington once said, "Observe good faith and justice towards all nations..." Great leaders show confidence, respect, they also show lots of passion. George Washington was that kind of leader. George Washington was born February 22, 1732 and grew up in Fredericksburg Virginia. Washington became the Commander in Chief of the Continental army in the Revolutionary War. ("Washington"). Later in life he served as the first U.S. president ("Washington"). George Washington showed many important traits of great leadership. George Washington showed great confidence when he trained and lead his army against Britian for the first and second time. He showed his soldiers and others that he would not surrender against his army.

Ordinarily he did have strong leadership traits, but he used them all in horrible ways. Adolf caused many deaths, but he himself never did kill anyone physically. The Biographgy.com website states, "He initiated World War II and oversaw fascist policies that resulted In millions of deaths" (Adolf Hitler Biography). World War II devastated a lot of people and land, which was all under Hitler. Even though Hitler never killed anyone himself, he still got people around him to do the harm. Graeme Shimmin, military historian stated, "...Hitler never personally killed anyone..."(Shimmin). This little evidence shows that Hitler was a very smart, driven and passionate man. He used all of them in many ways. Washington showed respect for everyone around him by turning down the offer to be king. George was confident and passionate in his decision when taking his troops to fight Brittan's many soldiers. Adolf Hitler was the opposite, he was a terrible leader. George's achievements show people that they can do anything if they put their mind to it. Leaders don’t have to be smart or strong. George paved the way for many of years, many presidents after him had big shoes to fill. George's respect, determination, and confidence made the United States
