George Washington was a president who was born on February 22, 1732, and has passed away on December 14, 1799. He has passed away because he had a throat infection. He was currently 67 when he has passed away. Washington was elected president on April 30, 1789 to March 4, 1797. He was running against John Adams, who was the vice president. He was the first president elected for the United States ever. As he was elected he had never worked at the white house and he had never stayed in Washington, D.C.
