George washington was born on February 22, 1732. February 11, 1731 – December 14, 1799 was an American politic and soldier who served as the the first president of the united states from 1789 to 1797 and was one of the Founding fathers in the United States. He served as chief of the army called the continental army during the war of the americans and later presided over the 1787 convention that drafted the united constitution. He is popularly considered the driving force behind the nation's establishment and came to be known as the the father of our country the united states both during his lifetime and to this day.Washington was a very respected person for his leadership.Back then Washington was elected by an college.He was born into the country of VA to a family of planters who owned tobacco plantations and slaves, which he had claim over. …show more content…
