Notes:

When working with CYP as a support worker I have tried to make sure that when they are in my care I have encouraged each one of them to be conscious of the fact that where they live and how they behave in their community is very important as to how others see them.

Each individual should be able to experience opportunities that will help them grow,achieve and be progress in society.
Each CYP should be given as much care and attention as any other CYP.
They should be made to feel included,a sense of belonging and made to feel as an individual.
They should not be made to feel less favoured than another person and made to feel as part of a group.
They should not be pre-judged ,given negative attitudes as this may make them feel inferior to others and make them feel insignificant.
You need to make sure that you promote CYP who are different ,that they accepted in society.

When CYP are discriminated against and not made to feel as part of their community this can be very difficult to cope with.Some people
May exclude them,bully or abuse them,this can be because of many reasons.They may see them as different because of their colour,gender and
