Gentiva Mission Statement Analysis
I have reviewed the “About Us” pages for the website of the home healthcare company Gentiva. The mission statement of this company is “To improve quality of live for those we serve through the delivery of clinical excellence, extraordinary service and compassionate care, while being recognized as the leader in home health and hospice services.” – Gentiva.com. This commitment to compliance by the company achieved part of its mission of being a leader in its field as it was one of the first to implement a program dedicated to compliance. Extensive training is also provided for employees to ensure adherence to the compliance standards set by the company. This is extremely important to the “clinical excellence, extraordinary service” and “the leader in home health and hospice services” portions of the mission statement.

Included on the website are patient stories which describe the difficulties faced by patients prior to receiving Gentiva’s services and also the impact the services had on them after. There are pictures of the patients in questions with the healthcare professional who provided the service. This goes back to the “improve quality of life for those we serve” portion of the mission
