Random Sampling, a method often used by ecologist involves an unpredictable component. In this method, all members of the population have an equal chance of being selected as part of the sample. The results involving random sampling can be categorized as descriptive statistics and inferential statistics (Montague 2009).Descriptive statistics includes simplified calculations of a given sample and arrange this information into charts and graphs that are easy to contrast. Trying to reach conclusions that extend beyond the immediate data alone describes inferential statistics. To document the results of sampling, qualitative and quantitative data is used. Quantitative data lack is measured and identified on a numerical scale, whereas Qualitative data approximates data but does not measure characteristics,…

Ruby Moon’s narrative structure can be described as episodic. This episodic narrative is significant to the character development and to the advancement of the plot through several ways. The episodic narrative slowly gives away the many paradoxes of Ray and Sylvie, and reveals these two main characters through Dulcie, Dawn, Sid, Sonny Jim etc. The condensed format of the play allows the audience to grow organically alongside the characters, slowly developing in front of their eyes. It also advances the plot by showing the audience the warped reality of Ray and Sylvie in their own world, and lets them decide different interpretations.…

Ruby Moon written by Matt Cameron in 2003 is a presentational non-realistic, contemporary Australian drama with representational elements in reference to its development of characters. The style is also that of a psychodrama as it exposes the gargantuan holes in Ray and Sylvie’s state of mind as the story unfolds their psychological flaws become more and more conspicuous to the audience. It also takes on the style of an absurdist drama as this means that a realistic lifestyle is portrayed in the text although in an unrealistic or exaggerated (presentational) way.…

    Radiant Red Rock

One of the most unique and special National Parks to me is Zion in Utah. The Colorado Plateau region lies along the side of Zion. This Park is very beautiful and has many different attributes to it but with out a doubt its red dirt and mountains are wonders. Zion is 229 square miles (147,551 acres) and has around 75 species of mammals, 271 birds, 32 reptiles and amphibians, 8 fish. The rock layers have been through so much; for example, they have been uplifted, tilted, and eroded, forming a feature called the Grand Staircase. This incredible landmark also carries the Virgin River right through it. My experiences at Zion have been only but amazing, I have learned so much and enjoy being surrounded by such a radiant red rock. I have found that this park has much history to still be found. What I have come across to be most interesting at this National Park is the Virgin River, Checkerboard Mesa and the Sedimentation taken place.…

When reading the play "Ruby Moon" it is easy to pick up on the personal and social tensions between characters. The descriptive nature of the stage directions and the very act of reading as opposed to just seeing on stage, being able to take time to look over each line, means that a reader can see which scenes accentuate the tension between both Ray and Sylvie or the characters they have created. Stage directions in the play plainly describe when a pause on stage is to be tense, or what the vibe is supposed to feel like during a particular scene.…

The pictures that were put on the web site were popular. I would tell Jerry to convince Robin to take more and sale them on his website with MMB’s logo on them. Promotional posters could be sold too. I think the idea with the hats and jackets was a great idea maybe not so much to make a profit but to at least get customers wearing the gear to get the brand more recognition since so many customers are repeat customers getting them to wear the logo will bring awareness to new customers. Let the repeat customers be walking billboards. Maybe offer the caps and jackets to repeat customers to gain loyalty for every year they return.…
